Embracing Career Transitions
Embarking on a career transition can be both exhilarating and challenging.
At each transition in my career, moving from the Director role to the VP position or from the VP to the Group VP role,
my company provided me with an Executive Coach.
The thought of hiring a coach had never crossed my mind until a company provided one to help me transition into a new position. It was a singular lesson and resulted in the most solid transition I’d ever experienced. After that, I made finding a coach part of every future opportunity, and, each and every time, it only reinforced the value of having a thought partner, a confidant, and a guide. It helped me do and be my best in each new role.
As I transitioned out of a successful 30+ year career, I thought long and hard about the next chapter of my life, and decided to close the circle and do what so many others had done for me. As an Executive Coach, my intent is to help already successful leaders be even more successful. Using my own journey navigating leadership roles in my twenties, to reaching the pinnacle of Senior Vice President of Fox Sports Net East in my thirties, and then advancing to Group Vice President at Cox Media in my late forties, I so well understand the nuances and complexities of professional evolution and the power of Embracing the Change.
